I came to this program really broken and not wanting to be sober. As I started to get to know my treatment team and how much they care for me, it opened my eyes and helped me realize I can life a sober life. I don’t have to depend on drugs to be happy.
My son is five. He’s innocent, loving and so caring. He always tells me he wants to be a police officer or FBI agent when he grows up. The fact I can have my son here with me and that we can learn and grow together is amazing. I am so thankful for that.
The staff takes time out of their day to care about our well-being. They advocate for us and really care for us. They are helping me set healthy boundaries, to be successful, to be a better mom and a better person. This is one of the best programs I’ve ever been in. I know that every day, God wakes me up and gives me another chance.
I have hope that I’m going back to college and finish what I started, while being the best parent I can be. I am thankful that Wellcome Manor gave my son and me the opportunity to grow and be together in this program. They make it possible for every woman and their children to have another chance, for helping women stay sober and giving kids their mom back.
