Lindsay’s Story

What brought me to Wellcome Manor was the desire to get off meth, get away from my toxic relationship, and to get custody of my son. Wellcome Manor facilitated CPS requirements, such as visitation and  akid-friendly atmosphere, but they also provided a team of professionals who were on my side and willing to advocate for me. They put in the time and effort to help me to find the disconnect that was keeping me from staying in long-term recovery.

I graduate from drug court this year, my CPS case will be closed soon, and I have a full-time job. I volunteer and I’m involved with my church. I have a relationship with God that I’ve never had before. If I didn’t have my faith, I don’t think I would’ve made it through. I have my son full-time, and when we go to sleep at night, we fold our hands and we praise God and we thank Him for the transformation He helped work in me.
