Daily Schedule
A Day at Wellcome Manor
The Wellcome Manor Daily Schedule is Unique Between Women & Women with Children
8:25am – Clients eat breakfast with their children and drop them off at daycare.
8:40am – 3:30pm – Group programming for mental health, trauma, addiction education and recovery, and parenting.
3:30pm – 4:30pm – Daycare Pickup/Mommy & Me Time
This hour is for moms and kids to spend some free time reconnecting, playing together, and catching up after a long day apart.
4:30pm – 5:15pm – Parent/Child Interaction
Staff creates structured activities for moms and kids to do together, based around a favorite children’s movie. They engage in art projects, games, or free play time in our play room.
5:15pm – 6:15pm – Family Meal Time
6:15pm – 7:00pm – Child Development
Moms attend this group with their kids once a week to spend some on-on-one time while helping keep their kids on track with their developmental milestones. A series of fun games and activities will help moms determine whether their kids need to spend additional time working on things like motor skills, speech, social/emotional skills, and a variety of other basic abilities.
7:00pm – 7:30pm – Evening Snack Time
7:30pm – 8:30pm – Bedtime Routine
This time is alloted for kids to take their baths, brush their teeth, get their pajamas on, and start settling down for the night. Moms may spend some of this time reading bedtime stories and singing lullabies.
8:30pm – Child Bedtime
All kids should be in their rooms by 8:30pm. Moms are expected to stay with their children until they are asleep. Once the kids are sleeping, mom may leave the room, as long as she returns to check on the child(ren) every 15 minutes.
